The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Oyo State on Saturday arrested four males and two females with a fresh human head with blood still dripping from it.
The six suspects identified as Adebayo Afeez, Amidu Ogunjimi, Sherifat Mufutau, Taibat Lasisi, Waheed Wahab and Oyeniyi Oyeniran were arrested at Iware in Afjio Local Government area of Oyo State.Some items like three vehicles:one Infinity car without registration number and two Mazda cars with registration numbers UA 518 KJA and DE 902 BDJ, fresh blood and some tools used in carrying out the act were also recovered from the suspects.
Investigations revealed that the shrine where the suspects were arrested and the head recovered had between 8 – 10 rooms and also had an underground tunnel leading to the shrine from the back.
The state Public Relations Officer, Mr Olusegun Oluwole who confirmed the arrest, said that the suspects had been brought to the NSDCD headquarters in Ibadan and investigations still on going.
